I am a 4th year Ph.D. Student in Computer Vision Laboratory (VisLab), Institute for Systems and Robotics (ISR) Lisbon, working in the area of Robotics and Neuroscience. My Ph.D. is about computational models of object affordances. I am also a member of Kampff lab where I get to play with densely recorded neural activities from freely behaving rats.
I started my journey by designing the control command and electrical board of a quadrotor during my Bachelor’s. Later, for my Master’s Thesis, I worked on modeling driver’s behaviour in turns using ACT-R cognitive architecture. MOOCs helped me a lot to start with Artificial Intelligence and Neuroscience.
While coding I bang my head to Nightwish. In my free time, I either like to in Tagus or simply around Lisbon.
